Why I Started A Blog
Hi Friends! Can you believe it...I finally took the leap and started a blog. What!? I honestly never thought I'd be here writing a blog because growing up I was not the best with grammar, let alone large vocabulary words. So heads up there defiantly won't be words that I can't pronounce and there may be a couple grammar errors here or there. Heck, I'm human and if that is something that doesn't float your boat then this blog might not be the right fit for you. But for those of you that are thinking AMEN, I want to see and hear more...then I'm your gal!
I'm starting a blog because I want my tribe to know whats going on behind the scenes when new gowns are not coming off the production table, what I'm thinking about personally and professionally, helpful tips when shopping for wedding dresses, styled shoot inspiration and real brides of Kirsten Paige #kpgirl. I want to showcase not only my gowns but more of the Kirsten Paige brand as a whole.
Welcome! Only authenticity here...not perfection.
For my first blog post I wanted to showcase a styled shoot that I hold near and dear to my heart because it combines two of my favorite things aviation and bridal wear. No, I'm not a die hard plane enthusiast but I am a huge family gal and my dad comes to mind every time I think of an airplane because he is a pilot...thus combining airplanes and wedding dresses. This shoot not only combined what I love but involved several insanely talented, Missouri creatives. I'm obsessed with my Midwestern roots and partnering up with St. Louis creatives was the cherry on top making this project even sweeter. Below are a few of the images as well as video footage shot. I hope you enjoy!
